POST: ICT SUPPORT OFFICER – PROGRAMMING
UNIT: ICT
QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Degree in Computer Science and Information Systems or related field from a recognized institution
At least 2 years’ experience in software development
Alternative qualifications acceptable to the Board
Must have excellent knowledge of the C#, LINQ languages
Should know the architecture concept of the MVC and .Net Framework
Need the basic understanding related to the client-side (front end) languages like HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
Demonstrate good knowledge of database operations
Good methodical and systematic approach to work organization and problem-solving ability
Multi-tasking, time management and ability to set priorities
Good communication skill
Good interpersonal skills.
KEY DUTIES
To be responsible to the respective Manager or any other designated officer to perform the following:
To work in close collaboration with other department/sections on ICT projects and matters relating thereof.
Achieve delivery of core/customized products in accordance with agreed schedules, procedures and standards.
Maintain/update existing modules and/or create new modules in the NHDC Web Based Application.
Analyse business requirements from departments/units and assist in devising an action plan to achieve overall organizational efficiency.
Provide effective team collaboration to implement ICT projects in a timely manner.
Assisting in defining/maintaining technical documents and user manuals for all ICT functions.
Conduct training sessions for end-users in a comprehensive and clear manner.
Provide access to end users in applications
To perform other duties directly related to the main duties listed above or related to the delivery of the output and results expected from incumbent in the role ascribed to him/her.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
On a contract basis for a period of one year, which may be renewed subject to satisfactory performance;
Monthly salary of Rs 38,901.00 plus refund of bus fare; and
Other conditions as per employment law.
